Wild Ride
Hahaha.. Ok, the title was meant to catch your attention. Last night I was driving the stretch of road from SMU to Suntec City. While driving, I heard loud engine sound, that kind of sound from a turbo engine. I looked into my rear mirror and saw bright lights behind me, gaining speed on me before overtaking me. It was a Mazda Rx8. Soon behind this car, 2 more RX8 followed. Out of curiosity, I stepped on my accelerator to check them out. As I was trying to catch them up, 2 more RX8 and 1 Nissan Silvia overtook me. Luckily, there was a traffic light at the overhead bridge at Suntec City and all of them had to stop their cars. While stopping, few more RX8 caught up with the rest. I felt it was so damn cool. There were around 8 RX8 travelling together on the road. All in different colours and different body kits. And I was definitely like a poser because I was in between them. Hahaha.. Driving dear's Hyundai Accent in the midst of the RX8s. But too bad, they weren't racing. I guess it was like a RX8 club kinda thing. Because after the red light, as 'we' move off, only few cars sped off, driving recklessly, zooming in and out of other cars. Those cars that sped off, were actually cars with better body kit. I tried to keep up with them, but couldn't. Hee... Dear asked me not to act like them. Hahaha.. I do envy their way of driving. If only I got the guts to zoom in and out. The rest of the normal RX8 just drove normally and safely. Well I think they were heading towards the Mac at the netball centre. A common place for this people to gather. A short, fun experience. Ha!
